Philippine Small Press Suppression History

This poster was included to highlight the ways in which small presses have been impacted by different administrations in the Philippines. Often, the orders were targeted at journalists, generating fear, twisting stories, and sometimes resulting in state-sanctioned violence. These impacts carried over to small publishing presses, as both journalists and other authors were challenging the authoritarian regime's story.
